Associate Professor (tenured) of Computer Science, building trustworthy AI for the autonomous management of 5G/6G networks.
I am an Associate Professor with 13 years of university teaching and research in the UAE, France and Algeria. My work focuses on trustworthy AI for the autonomous management, security and resource optimisation of 5G/6G networks.
I have contributed to eleven funded projects (four UAE, three European, four French), with over AED 1.7 million in UAE funding. At the University of Sharjah I coordinate the MSc in Artificial Intelligence program and lead the DeepORAN project; in France I was sole coordinator of the 5G-VIA testbed project. I have co-supervised six PhD theses, five of them completed.
I serve as Associate Editor of IEEE OJ-COMS, IEEE Internet of Things Magazine and the Journal of Big Data, and as Co-General Chair of IEEE ICCE 2026. I co-edited the book Collaborative Learning for 6G Mobile Wireless Networks (Academic Press/Elsevier, 2026). I teach in English and French, from first-year undergraduate to PhD level, plus Cisco CCNA professional training.
